Aaand the title of chapter 5 is open for speculations. ;) My editor didn’t get the meaning, and maybe I should have explained it to her to be sure I can really write it that way… but… yeah… I missed it. … So what will we get in this new chapter? Yeah, that contract about those mining rights seems to be very important for Rin, the ability to build wingships is absolutely a big deal, but do you think, Ree really has to be worried? . ☆☆☆ . Today I wanna share a few thoughts about fantasy worldbuilding. If you want to create a world you shouldn’t think, it is like it is because I say so. Of course, you don’t have to explain magic. Just keep your magic system consistent. Don’t add constantly new features because it’s an easy way for your protagonists to get out of inescapable situations. This is lazy writing! … But in this special case, I want to talk about races, especially demons. I wanted them to be bisexual and sometimes a wee bit oversexed as well. That’s why I added a procreation restriction.  Demon women usually can have just one child. Ohh yes, Reeshan is blushing! The guy who’s standing on a ship utterly naked peeing over the railing and waving at the girls on the riverbank.   This is the big deal! The one thing a demon solely will do with a person s/he truly loves. Indeed most fantasy authors use magic sparingly because it is always a huge game changer and you have to think through everything very carefully. Otherwise, it will create lots and lots of plot holes. A society with nearly unlimited access to magic – like the demons will evolve completely different than ours. . ☆☆☆ .
